Bahamut is an open source IRC server, used on DalNET and on other minor IRC networks. Bahamut seems to be the best alternative at the moment for ircd, yet other servers are succesiful used (e.g. Undernet ircd).
Bahamut is integrating perfectly with DalNET-like services, being known as the most stable IRC server environment.
